After meeting with Harvey Goodman, an elderly man who swears revenge on a sleazy estate planning con artist named Danny McDonald, Matrix becomes confused when Miss Lumley, the Latin Tango dancer guide in the City In-Between calls on him to watch over the life of McDonald. With Matrix posing as the son of a very wealthy but ailing businessman and owner of a pair of rare million dollar silver goblets, and an eager Liz posing as an expert antiques appraiser, Matrix sets up McDonald to buy the goblets at a fraction of its "value" in an effort to recover the Goodman's bilked savings. Shortly after money is exchanged, Liz's visiting and meddling mother blows her cover, leaving an angry McDonald to kidnap Liz for ransom of $300K plus $100K. Matrix delivers counterfeit money and McDonald is arrested at the airport for passing fake bills.
