In exchange for leading her Seniors' Weekend Mall Walkathon at 6 am, Liz tries to keep Murray, the landlord, in line during a fire inspection in which Murray hopes to have Matrix thrown out of his condo. Meanwhile, Matrix is ordered by Sargeant Dixon from the City In-Between to protect Dr. Howard Sands, a peace emissary who's trapped inside his secluded Longworth Clinic when Riker, an arms dealer, along with other dealers, arrive to kill Sands. Billy sneaks in and tries to help Sands and his wife escape through a secret exit, but Mrs. Sands, who actually opposes Dr. Sands' mission, informs Riker through her cell phone on their whereabouts and almost gets herself killed until Matrix shoots Riker dead.
